New generation of Mazda 6

The latest generation Mazda6 sedan finally appear as well. Mazda will introduce the concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show in December 2011. Concept car is named Takeri.

Sedan 4 door saloon with these new machines will use the Mazda SkyActive-D diesel engine 2200 cc. Same machine is also embedded in the SUV CX-5.

Although using a diesel engine, Mazda ensure this car will remain comfortable and have a performance like gasoline sedan.

This machine is combined with electronic devices such as idling stop system that Mazda's typical of the i-stop and regenerative braking system to date. Use of this feature makes the Mazda Takeri can penetrate the fuel consumption figures 1:25 or 1 liter to 25 km trip.

Once produced, as reported by Auto Express, the rider can get a car that is lighter and stronger than the previous Mazda6 thanks to the use of high-tensile steels.
